Saloid's Cloud Architecture practice architects and migrates data platforms onto EU-sovereign infrastructure — AWS EU, GCP EU, Hetzner — with Infrastructure as Code, cost controls, and zero CLOUD Act exposure.

Cloud that's right-sized, not over-engineered.

Architect your EU cloud

The problem

Cloud costs grow but clarity doesn't. Migration was copy-paste. You're running three data warehouses across two providers and still can't answer basic questions about cost drivers or sovereignty.

Symptoms

  • "Frankfurt region" treated as EU-sovereign — it isn't under the CLOUD Act
  • Cloud bill growing 30%+ per quarter with no clear driver or accountability
  • Infrastructure clicked together in a web console — no code, no audit trail, no bus factor
  • Locked into one vendor with no exit strategy and rising egress fees
  • Multiple data warehouses, none of them the "source of truth"

Our approach

01

Assessment

Map your actual CLOUD Act exposure, current costs, and vendor lock-in risk. "Frankfurt region" ≠ sovereign — we quantify the gap.

02

Blueprint

IaC-first architecture design on the right provider (AWS EU, GCP EU, Hetzner, OVH). Cost-tagged and right-sized from day one.

03

IaC implementation

Everything in Terraform or Pulumi. Version-controlled, peer-reviewed, rebuildable from scratch in minutes. Zero console-clicking.

04

Migration

Move workloads with zero downtime. Data stays in EU at every step. Kill unused resources and optimize as you go.

Frequently asked

Does AWS Frankfurt = EU-sovereign? +
Not necessarily. AWS is US-owned, subject to the CLOUD Act. True sovereignty needs either a non-US provider (Hetzner, OVH) or specific controls like customer-managed encryption keys. We assess your risk and architect accordingly.
How much can you cut cloud costs? +
Usually 20–30%. Right-sizing, killing unused resources, reserved capacity, fixing egress-heavy architectures. We cost-tag from day one so you see exactly what spends where.
What does Infrastructure as Code mean practically? +
Your entire cloud is defined in versioned code (Terraform/Pulumi), not clicked in a console. Rebuild from scratch in minutes. Review changes before they go live. The next person reads code instead of guessing.
